Rožle Bregar

A photographer, filmmaker, traveler, alpinist, juggler, a guy of many talents, who graduated from Sport photography on Institute and Academy for Multimedia.

In his early childhood he was introduced to the beauty of Slovenian mountains and that was probably the main reason he started training and competing in climbing. Later on, in his high school years he took on aggressive in-line rollerblading. But no matter what Rožle was doing, photography was always a part of his life. After a major hand injury, due to which he had to give up climbing, photography became one of his priorities in life. Now he takes his camera everywhere he goes, be that Slovenia or all over the world. In 2008 Kloc, as friends call him, celebrated his re-birth after being caught by an avalanche in Japanese mountains. He is looking for new challenges in photography mostly in extreme sports such as climbing, skiing, alpinsm, snowboarding, biking, … His soul is committed with sport through the lens.

Between mountains and rivers

Branko Bradaškja is an amateur photographer from Trenta. At only fourteen he had to leave home for the studies in Nova Gorica, later he got himself a job in Italy, and very young he formed his family near Bovec. He could never forget his hometown, and so, a few years ago, he started photographing the beauties of the unspoiled nature that surrounded him only there.

The main motifs of Branko’s photographs are hidden to the superficial visitor to the nature: wild animals enjoying freedom in a realm that is only theirs, and the rivers that give life to the valley of Trenta. In his photographs Branko never strives for a high artistic value, he only wants to achieve the most exact photograph of the pureness of the nature and of the world where time runs differently than in the valleys deep below. Through his photography Branko uncovers bits of this world.
