BOFF 2010 Calls for Entries
Taking place in last days of 2010, the 4th Bovec Outdoor Film Festival expands to three competitive and two non-competitive categories. Entries until end of October.
We opened the entries for fourth edition of Bovec Outdoor Film Festival which will take place in Bovec, Slovenia, from December 28 to 30 2010.
Five categories all together is the biggest news. The classic Sports and Action category will be split into short (up to 15 minutes) and long categories, both remain competitive. The Nature and Environment competitive category remains unchanged. The non-competitive categories will be the Promotional films and the new Era category. The latter unites films of older production than requested for competitive categories, archive films and films shown in previous editions of BOFF.
Entries are open until the end of October. Entries from both professional and amateur filmmakers are welcome. There is no entry fee.

The 4th BOFF is coming
The winter has ended, but BOFF is still here. So, we are preparing the 4th Bovec Outdoor Film Festival, which will take place in Bovec from 28th to 30th December 2010. We are happy to announce that we established a long term partnership with Bovec local community which also includes a financial input into our festival. However, we are still looking for other partnerships with media and sponsors.

Three awarded films to be shown in Ljubljana
The best films of third Bovec Outdoor Film Festival will be shown in the capital as a part of (fis)Kulturni dan at Ljubljana’s Kinodvor theatre.
On Sunday February 3rd at 9 pm the British film New Zealand South Island Circumnavigation (jury award in sport and action category) will be shown, followed by Slovak film Carstenz – Siedma hora (jury and public award in nature and environment category).

Three films, four awards
The awarded films of 3rd Bovec Outdoor Film Festival are: Carstenz – Siedma hora, New Zealand South Island Circumnavigation and To ni hec.
Bovec, December 31st – Third edition of Bovec Outdoor Fim Festival wrapped up yesterday night in Bovec cultural hall with award presentations.
The jury award in category Nature and environment has been awarded to Carstenz – Siedma hora (2008) by Slovak filmmaker Pavol Barabaš. The decision has been also matched by public voting since the same production was also awarded the public award.

3rd edition of BOFF is rolling
Tretji Bovec Outdoor Film Festival se je začel z otvoritvijo razstave Petra Fetticha, ogledom filma Lines in doooolgo zabavo.
30-letni Ljubljančan Peter Fettich je v Kulturnem domu Bovec razstavil 36 fotografij svojih treh najljubših športov na deskah in koles(c)ih: rolkanja, deskanja na snegu in gorskega kolesarstva.

Festival pred vrati, ogrevamo projektor
Mi smo nared in vas pričakujemo v Bovcu od ponedeljka do srede. Če zaradi dobre zabave ostanete do četrtka ali dlje, pa še bolje.
Bovec, 26. december – V ponedeljek se z otvoritvijo fotografske razstave športnega fotografa Petra Fetticha in predvajanjem filma izven tekmovalnega sporeda (Lines, deskanje na snegu) začenja tretji Bovec Outdoor Film Festival.

Festival schedule is published
Bovec Outdoor Film Festival which will take place from 28 to 30 December will project 27 films about nature and sport from nine different countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland, Great Britain, USA and Slovenia), 20 of them in the competition programme. -
Over 40 international entries
Last week the entry call for the application for 3. Bovec Outdoor Film Festival has closed. The festival will be held
on December 29 and 30 in Bovec. We received more than forty films from Slovenia and abroad. -
Fantasy snow garden
During the 3rd festival BOFF, we will present to you first edition of making snow sculptures in Bovec town. You will find Call for Entry and Entry form, in menu_Events, and than_“Snow Sculptures“.

Do not cry for Rail…
Unfortunately, the freestyle event which was planed for entertainment is canceled from today.
We took that decision because of no interest of potencial partners, etc. At that time we are sorry for all riders who have planed to visit us at Boff.
The rest of program for festival_BOFF, will be realized. Final schedule will be put down in start of december, when we will also anounced the movies including Slovenian premieres for some of the best movies from that year. Hope to see you around! -
We are presenting The Jury…
The members of the jury are experts from different sports, some are coming from movie making scene, but all are profesionals on their own way. In first week of december they will watch all films which will arrive until deadline on our addres and then they will anounce te winners and selections for screening at 29. and 30. december.

At third edition of BOFF we will participate with Ljubljana’s movie theatre KinoDvor, what means that the winners from Bovec will be shown in Ljubljana at 7.-8. february 2010, too. In Jury will be also one from the KinoDvor, who will also help to select the winners. The new categories and bigger money prices are also novelty of this edition.
