Urban Golob
Urban Golob is an alpinist and a photographer, with degree of cultural sociology and geography in his pocket. At most he works as outdoor photographer, focused on alpinist scene. When Davo Karničar made descent from Mt. Everest, Urban cought that extremly exploit on film of his camera. Also he published photos all over the world’s magazines, including the National Geographic (American an Slovenian editon).
He was secon chief of editor at ex Slovenian outdoor magazine named Grif, also he vas photo editor for Slovenian editon of Geo magazine. Not so long ago the worldwide alpinist scene got two exelent books and both of them was photo editoring by Urban. The first Življenje alpinista (The life of alpinist) is dedicated to exelent Slovenian alpinist Pavle Kozjak, who finished his way last year in Pakistan, second book, Ožarjeni kamni was written by legendary alpinist Franček Knez. Urban is also producing dokumentary’s movies, last project was scene for movie about lynx, orded by Slovenian national televison.
