Feared, cursed and also admired, the same as its founder, in his life never defeated, the chieftain Genghis Khan. A magic country, searching for its present face in the heritage of the 13th century. On their adventurous quest through inhospitable nature, away from the usual routes, the team discovered the other, unknown and surprisingly open-minded side of the aggressive conqueror. They travelled across the country, from the west to the east, rafting down the rivers, crossing valleys on horsebacks and climbing the largest glaciers. When wandering through Mongolia, they couldn’t believe that the locals are descendants of people who, according to contemporary historians, dispersed fear throughout Europe.
