Grilomentary premieres in Ljubljana, Bovec is next
Successful premiere of Slovene snowboard film Grilomentary, a story of snowboarder Marko Grilc, last night in Ljubljana. Next time on big screen on Thursday night, December 28th at Bovec Outdoor Film Festival.
A crowd of 600 cheered on when Grilomentary was shown for the first time Thursday night in Ljubljana’s Cankarjev dom.
All the incomes from ticket sals will be proceeded to the Wings for Life, a non-profit spinal cord research foundation.
“I must say I have been nervous before this premiere and I hope everyone liked the film. That means the most to me,” said Marko Grilc on stage after the film. “I give up lots of things in my life to be here and I think this is the peak of my career.”
Marko achieved a lot in his snowboarding career, among others he won last year’s Innsbruck Air & Style. “But only the best ones have their own film,” he adds.
The film is produced by Bazamedia 2.1 and directed by Domen Smerdel. Come check it out on BOFF next Thursday night.
