Tomaž Kovšca

Tomaž Kovšca, 1969, is a freelance journalist who is co-worker in the sports programme at the Slovenian National Television for already 20 years. He reported from six Olympic Games, numerous World and European Championships and other important competitions. He dedicates most of his time covering the sport of cycling.

He is the author of two awarded films about the extreme cyclist Jure Robič, with whom he also wrote a book “Samo človek sem” (I am only human). As a director he participated in the making of the film “Skoki so moje življenje” (Jumping is my life) at the end of the career of Slovenia’s best ever ski jumper Primož Peterka.

As scriptwriter, editor or director he also participated in the making of other documentary films from the field of extreme sports – mountain biking and ultra triathlon.
