Austrian freeski production company M-Line Freeski TV may have changed the focus of the ski movie with the trailer release for their newest film, “Far Away.” Sure, the film is chock-full of unbelievable mountain feats of athleticism and alpine bravery, but it also taps into an aspect of the athletes’ lives that so often eludes the camera—the families they leave behind. For every big mountain freeskier there is a handful of nervous family members wondering why their loved one insists on putting his or her life on the line every day. “Far Away” goes deeper into the story, interviewing the families of skiers and snowboarders that push the limits in the mountains.
