Karmen Tomšič
Mag. Karmen Tomšič (Slovenia) works as a freelancer film editor, camera operator, director and film projectionist. She was one of the main technicians at major film festivals in Slovenia (Slovenian Advertising Festival, Golden Drum – International Advertising Festival, Ljubljana International Film Festival, Liffe and Slovenian Film Festival). She lives in Bolzano, Italy, and works for the national televisions, film studios, advertising agencies, private TV stations in Italy and abroad. For several years she worked in the advertising industry for global brands such as Nokia, Elan, Seaway, Dominator. Over the last years she has been working on the production of eight documentary films about stories from her hometown Postojna. She speaks five languages and works as an international ski and snowboard instructor. She is also a diver, sport climber and paraglider.
